This is one of the Cape Cod events I look most forward to each spring! The grounds at Heritage are a sight to behold with thousands of Rhododendrons in bloom from late May into early June.

Plan to spend a few hours or more here, exploring the acres of gardens, miles of walking trails, and the museums filled with art, American history, and antique autos. The kids will love riding on the carousel!

2018 Main Events

7th ANNUAL ARTS & ANTIQUES EXCURSION…Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 am to closing. A self-guided tour of Brewster’s numerous antique and art galleries. Participating galleries are shown in RED: please see individual gallery listings for exact days, times and offers!

BREWSTER BAND SPRING CONCERT…Friday at 7:00 pm: Brewster Baptist Church, 1848 Main Street. A free will offering will be collected to support the Band. FREE!

 

JURIED FINE ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW

Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm andSunday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm: on the grounds of Cape Cod Sea Camps, 3057 Main Street with more than 90 vendors. Click here for the list of 2017 vendors! FREE admission and parking.

5K BLOOM RUN presented by CAPE COD 5…Saturday at 10:00 am: Starts at the Brewster Inn and Chowder House, 1993 Main Street.  Registration opens 8:30 am. Register in advance at www.BrewsterRecreation.com.

KID FEST AT DRUMMER BOY PARK …Saturday from 10 AM – 3 PM. 773 Main Street featuring Brewster’s youth groups hosting activities for families with children. Activities planned include Bounce House, Dance Floor, Golf Ball Drop, food concession and much more! (There is a $5 admission to Nauset Youth Alliance activities.) Participating organizations include Nauset Youth Alliance, Latham Centers, Inc., Eddy Elementary School Recycling Club, The Family Schools and Cape Cod Veterans Center.

BREWSTER IN BLOOM PARADE …Sunday – steps off at 1:00 pm from Eddy Elementary School west on Main St. to Swamp Rd. – staging begins at 12 Noon at the Eddy Elementary School. This year’s theme is “Sea Captains & Treasure”.

 

 

 

 

 

Cranberry Bog Tour

Autumn is the perfect time to learn about cranberries, an important commercial crop found across the Cape. The Cape Farm & Cranberry Company in Harwich offers guided tours of their cranberry bog and farm throughout the summer, spring, and fall

Cape Cod in the Fall

seasons. On the tour you will learn about the process of maintaining a cranberry bog year-round, as well as the tools and machines used to keep these bogs thriving. You also can visit with the farm’s animals. The tours are $15 per person and $10 for children.

Fall for the Arts Festival

In October, the Fall for the Arts Festival is a month-long, family friendly celebration of arts and culture across the Cape and Islands. Events include open houses at theaters, historical site and museums; art activities for children; live performances by local musicians; readings and lectures; special art exhibits; guided art and heritage walks; plein air painters; and more.
