Three Sisters Light Room
Formerly the Singer Room, it was named for the antique Singer sewing table inside as this was the room used for sewing garments. The room includes a mahogany four poster queen size bed.
The bathroom has an advantageous design; tiled shower in a separate room from the sink and lavatory provides convenience for the two of you to get ready for an evening out in one of many fine restaurants.
Excellent third floor view of not one, but two, country churches. All complimented by beautiful rose pattern floral linens - in burgundies and greens. You'll be anxious to get back to the Old Manse Inn after a busy day to this cozy environment.
What our guests are saying
I have stayed at several different b+b's at this point, on the Cape and elsewhere, and this is hands down my favorite. Never have I seen a b+b so tastefully kept. We stayed in the Vineyard Room, one of the newer (I believe) deluxe rooms, and it was beautifully decorated and just plain immaculate. Some b+b's can be pretty frumpy, with the drapes matching the wallpaper matching the bedspread (yuck!), but this one was anything but. Comfy, quiet, relaxing, modern. The common areas were also gorgeous.
AND the breakfast. Oh my gosh, the breakfast! It was so good. We definitely got our money's worth each morning, and it wasn't just your basic bacon and eggs. I'm talking gourmet, mouthwatering, eat-till-you're-stuffed breakfast. The food alone makes this place worth it, but add in a great location, a relaxing atmosphere, and a pair of awesome innkeepers, and you'd be a fool to stay anywhere else.
