Most Spacious 2nd Floor

Our spacious Deluxe guest room with queen-size bed located at the end of hall on the 2nd floor. Always one of our most popular rooms, Chatham Light is your innkeeper’s favorite.

Our spacious Deluxe guest room with queen-size bed located at the end of hall on the 2nd floor.  Always one of our most popular rooms, Chatham Light is your innkeeper’s favorite because of the direction the room faces but also because of how spacious it feels, from the guest room itself to the larger size bathroom, in the main house. Besides the updates made in Fall, 2020, the highlights for this exceptional guest room include the queen-size, mahogany, four poster bed and fireplace.  Other elegant features include stunning nautical paintings and antique Baltimore harbor prints. On either side of the mahogany paneled fireplace, the incredible amount of 5 windows overlook the sweeping west lawn landscape surrounding the Inn as well as the old New England church across the street. When the snow is falling, you can picture yourself back in time!  18″ wide pine floorboards, reminiscent of early Colonial times, enhance the appeal of Chatham Light as do a magnificent tiled bath with jacuzzi air tub and shower plus charming dressing table area. Staying in this room will surely make you enjoy a sea captain’s experience. Add brand new Mitsubishi air conditioning, a larger flat screen cable TV with a DVD player inside the TV itself, a writing desk and an ample closet and dresser for your storage needs plus plenty of outlets for all charging needs and the conveniences are complete.

Room Availability

My wife and i spend a lovely overnight at the Inn. The inn keepers-- Brian and Charlie-- were among the nicest we have ever met, and made us feel very welcome. The room (deluxe) on the ground floor was absolutely wonderful, and breakfast was delicious. We were there "off-season" (mid April) and found Brewster to be a quiet and lovely area of the Cape. We recommend the Old Manse Inn highly to anyone looking for a beautiful B& B on the Cape.

Old Manse Inn COVID-19 Update - SEASON OPENS FRIDAY, APRIL 30TH!

Updated April 9, 2021

Dear Old Manse Inn Family,

Charlie and Brian hope that this note finds you all doing well and staying safe. We have missed many of you during this pandemic and we are certainly looking forward to seeing and hosting you all once again in 2021!!  We subscribe to the idea that we can achieve our best selves here at the Inn by working towards the common good.  This includes the safety and well-being of our guests - and our great staff too!

We re-open for the 2021 season on Fri., 4/30 and cannot wait to host you all once again!  As vaccinations continue to make progress, we are excited to see you all enjoy a more relaxed stay after the LONG time spent indoors and/or away from friends and loved ones.  We will attempt to keep you updated here on any new developments that we become aware of.  Here is what we know so far:

Brian will continue to work on the Brewster Reopening Advisory Board for as long as the group remains together to communicate any new information to the town, fellow businesses and guests.  He will communicate the latest Social Guidelines and available options to all guests as their arrival dates approach.  Responses may be requested from each guest regarding preferences for breakfast dining, guest room cleaning, etc.  With some creativity, we hope to still provide all of the amenities that you are used to enjoying here at the Inn!  We feel that the precautions are the socially-responsible choice and will support a more favorable long-term outcome for the communities and guests that support us.

Until the vast majority of folks can be vaccinated - and we hear differently from State authorities - we will continue to encourage guests to do the following when in public spaces:

If you have any questions or need more details, please reach out directly to Brian at the Inn via email (innkeeper@oldmanseinn.com or phone 508-896-3149). We will be monitoring the evolving situation constantly as we move forward so that we can welcome you all for a great stay!

We hope you will join us as we know everyone needs that time away to re-charge after the last year!

All Our Best,

Brian & Charlie
