Long Point Light

Our popular Deluxe ground floor room with queen-size bed in the Main House is a favorite for both men and women alike. It has a romantic maritime decor with historic map wall coverings, classic built-in storage shelves, brand new window shutters on all 5 windows(!)  and warm hardwood flooring. This room was the original sitting room of the house’s maritime owners because of the room’s smaller size than the Parlor and its direction facing south to allow more warmth and sunshine. It was also the doctor’s office for the original owners and a bar more recently when the Inn was also a restaurant. This room has been new renovated in the Fall of 2020 and features brand new Mitsubishi air conditioning, an ensuite bathroom with pedestal sink and a 54″ wide shower with body jets, plus a larger flat screen 32″ Smart TV with all of the popular streaming websites. The gas stove within a brick fireplace will warm you up as you relish in the comfort of the room.  The brass, four-poster bed with feather bed topping makes for an incredible night’s sleep!
